Cars can be emotive things for their owners, as only we know too well on this board.

Even if the coppers were punished and the bloke fully compensated, perhaps he was really attached to his car?! Thanks to the pig's pigheaded actions, he'll never get his pride and joy back.

I'm leaving aside the fact that he got done for drunk driving, as I don't know the outcome of his trial. But, regardless, that doesn't give the right for the pigs to abuse his car whilst driving it back to the holding compound! Fecking elitist arseholes! It would have been, perhaps, just worth it, if the coppers suffered serious injury in the crash... Might just have taught them the lesson they so richly need teaching, seeing as they, evidently, thought they were above the law. You know, just like the condescending, 'I'm a far superior person than you, so what I say goes'-based lessons some insist on 'teaching' us when, say, we've committed a trivial traffic violation.

pretty old that incident, but there is no way they will get away without replacing the car, the owner was drunk, courts handle that.
Then police wreck the car? there fault they responsible

If you're caught drink driving, your car should be taken off you and crushed anyway.

Here here, and I'd be interested to know how many of us have been beaten up at some stage by the law?

Back when i first started driving i had those led washer jets.had a blue mk2 fiesta and blue led waheres.anyway got pulled because they were blue and copper askd me to change them.he said white would be ok but not blue and explained why and sent me on my way,no fine or telling off.So fair enough i thought and off i go and buy white ones and fit them.
Week later im out and about and get pulled again, differant copper though with a right attitude from the off.goes on about those stupid blue lights etc etc,so i politly said they are white and explained what had happend with the other copper.so he argued they were blue and i argued they were white as he was guna fine me and allsorts. So he gets a piece of white paper and puts it by them and the light was white,to which he said well they looked blue as u drove past so im fining you, even though he just proved himself wrong.
So i told him what i thought and that its coppers with attitudes like that that **** people off and give them all a **** name.i went to local cop shop for producer told the sgt what had happend and he said he would be having words with him.
Weather he did i dont know.
Anyway compleatly off subject but its the attitudes of some of them that get to me.

If convicted. In a fair court of law with a fair hearing. Yes.

There's no place for summary 'justice'.
