.. it's all a bit headline-grabbing. When looking at statistics people like to cherry pick the information for the best headline, when the reality is far less clear-cut. I don't know how the two sectors can be reliably compared anyhow.

That being said, on the face of it, even with the caveats and cautions the data brings, it certainly does backup claims that with their longer holiday entitlements, generous pensions, childcare, and now salary-parity, the public sector are far better off. It cannot last!!
