Since the beginning of human records, women have succesfully conned men!

The devices were high power niobium magnets placed on the lines as they enter the injectors
The turbo fan changes the engine power delivery
The acetone works, in Germany some of the super diesel on sale has acetone added
I will happily adopt these devices when I see some scientific proof of their effectiveness. Until then the money remains firmly in my pocket, and my right foot planted firmly on the gas peddle LOL
see here for an engine fuel management designers advice

or inpartial testing by people who would have liked it to work

In Brazil they have been using alcohol biofuel for some time, seems that the long term effects of alcohol on aluminium are not good.
The concentration of acetone is very low, it reduces the surface tension of petrol, increasing the misting and decreasing the temperature of the charge.
The acetone is picked up by the oxygen sensor and this leans out the mixture.
There is a lot of stuff on the hypermilers site and forums showing positive results on using acetone in petrol and diesel, for a few years now with some of the owners.
The magnets and the passive supercharger fan were put on to get some personal opinion on what is obviously a devisive subject. I also put one of the magnets on the oil boiler injector. Used 500 litres to heat 3 bedroomed house in the last 6 months of snow.(and hot water)

Trying something out for experimentations sake is different from being conned I grant you.
But the jury is still out on the acetone (and I am too lazy to try it) If it works for you....![Thumb](images/smilies/thumb.gif)
