No! It is not the immigrants i 'despise' (your words) it is the system, i despise that the system can be so easily manipulated and our politicians, the ones voted in to look after our best interests first and foremost seem ambivalent (at best) to it.

I am frustrated by the immigrants, i dislike the Illegals who enter this country illegally as they break the laws and pass thorough many EU countries to get here! I find it very frustrating that our borders are so easy to pass through and that we have no idea who is here, some 1 million are here and it is almost impossible to get rid of them. We have some serious, evil criminals entering this country that we have no idea about - that is very wrong!

I agree entirely about your home grown scum comments, always have, always will.

No we live in a society where equal opportunities are enshrined in the law and in some cases we have positive discrimination.

I'm not a fan of positive discrimination, I think ability and suitability for a post should decide if you get a job and not ethnic background. Equal opportunities are a bedrock of a civilised society.

I agree too. Positive discrimination is just saying that the minorities in question - whether they be women, asians, whites, aboriginals etc - are too weak to cope without help.

Agreed Dave, but if we didn't give so many benefits to ANYONE then there wouldn't be any reason for the spongers of any denomination to try and live off the state in the UK.

Muslims? But a minute ago they were the least likely to have a job. Or do you mean white immigrants?

Just immigrants in general.

I can't prove a negative; that muslims are not discriminated against, but otoh you provide zero evidence that they are discriminated against significantly.

You really must walk around with your head up your **** quite frankly. Are you saying that Muslims/Pakistanis/Indians etc. are never discrimintaed against because of their skin colour and/or religuon in the UK then?

I think we both know that is a complete lie, the difference is you don't want to admit it because it, as ever, does not suit your agenda ... that agenda in this thread being that all Muslims are lazy workshy spongers and all white Brits are 'salt of the earth' hard working people as honest as the day is long..... LOL at that!!!!

Anyone can say their 'group' has some discrimination, but the question is if that discrimination is significant.

I don't believe it is for Muslims/Pakistanis any more than it is for ginger people or short people.

No need to resort to strawman arguments and black/white arguments BTW.

And I believe correctly that it is significant. You can say you believe what you want quite frankly, but if you genuinely believe it (which I doubt) you have your head in the sand ... again!!

I don't believe an immigrant or an indigenous worker on minimum wage can be a net gain to the UK economy. You have to take into account the benefits they receive housing ,schools,NHS, etc,etc especially if they have dependents.

Even if they come out as neutral that's a better outcome than the immigrant/indigenous layabouts. Also it's not the minimum wage 9-5 workers that are placing a drain on the courts and police force, it's these layabouts bored out of their skulls causing most of the trouble.
