The combined weight of trailer and Scoob is below the 1800kg maximum towing capacity of the Mondy and the gross laden weight for the trailer stamped on its plate is a very grey area.
The authorities are now eerrring towards the actual weight rather than the potential maximum - this isn't actually law yet hence the grey area!
The trailer was too good to miss though so went for it anyway. It tows beautifully laden and unladen, perhaps a little slower laden.

That's the aspect on the photo - the one from the other end ie Mondy in foreground, makes the trailer look bitsy.

Ended up taking me to a weigh bridge, showing I was only carrying just over 1500kg and let me off.... ended up taking the plate off, and under plating it to state 2300kg MAM, so they cant be fussy....
Like you say, aye its a gray area the towing regs and weights. Seen many people on forums getting done because the MAM of the trailer was way over the towing cap of the car/jeep/van..... It gets even more confusing when your towing with a van

Really - so it's up and running and ready for Monday!?!?
So it wasn't old sausage fingers here disturbing something or removing something I shouldn't - that's a result 'cause I can think of a few peeps that wouldn't have let me forget a slip up like that

Anyway, thanks Jay, well done - it is a bit of an odd one though isn't it.
I've got one being delivered from a breakers in Norwich - the P1 in Trents is a small metal box now.
I shall be ready for Monday I owe you a pint.
