I disagree. Beer is essential to live Subaru/car needed for transport again pretty essential. Crack I never mentioned but whatever rings your bell

Thousands of people choose 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, so statistically it is one of the worst combinations to pick. Similarly all numbers under 31 (dates) and evenly spaced across the ticket. Best selection is something like three together with a couple of high numbers.

With a rollover the odds are the same but the prize has increased, therefore a less bad time to place your bets.

I don't mean to be rude but that is utter b0llocks.
The odds of 1,2,3,4,5,6 coming up are EXACTLY the same as any other combination of 6 numbers taken from the source *****

Ohhhh - You mean that you'll have to share your winnings ?

Well - You have a point there to be honest!!

Not mad and not b0ll0x, of course the odds of any combination coming up are the same, but the sum of money you would win will vary depending on how many make the same selection. How disappointed would you be if your 6 numbers came up and you won a £1000 because loads of other people thought 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 was a unique selection

actually you are correct, apparently 1000's of people really do pick 1,2,3,4,5,6, or a no in each corner, or in a line each week.

apparently a fair amount of design goes into tickets to try to stop this.

anyhow, some people do win: I had a plumber that worked for me in the mid 90's who won the lottery

Wink

So - Friday is an estimated £166M - No doubt that will swell to nearer £170M.

What the hell would you do with that?

Resign - That's a given!
£20M to Family and Friends.
£5M to Cancer Research.
£5M to Great Ormond Street.
20 x Centre Court Debenture seats for Wimbledon (£500K)
Hair transplant £??K
Teeth fixed £?K
New home £3M
New Cars £500K

That leaves approx £127M

Reckon I'd spend a good few years following the major Tennis Tournaments / Grand Prix worldwide - First class all the way.

I cannot see how it could be possible to blow that amount of dosh. It would / SHOULD set up your ancestors in perpetuity(sp)

Monthly!

Whats wrong with daily?

Where the f00k can you get a pint for £2?

Samuel Smiths pubs Alpine lager and get change. First sip is a bit rank but slips down nicely after that. Loopy juice too!

First Class, pah! A private jet is what you need, that will soon eat into your money.
Big yacht = £20m.
Security = £££ / year.
50 new scoobs for the posters on this thread = £1.5m.

And if you really don't know how to get rid of it then just buy a million lottery tickets every week, it'll soon disappear
