i was told subaru UK Should confirm it ok for warranty VERY soon and have a Subaru part number. And then be in pro-r shop. IIRC IMHO

Or if you a bit handy electrically buy a £5-10 12vdc 8 pin relay like this one below and wire it up yourself

Then remove cables 7 B, 10 LR & 9 Bw from switch and connect up a twin Pole relay with great care.
Connect cable #7 (B) to coil pin #2
connect Ignition live to other side of coil pin #7
connect cable #10 (LR) common relay pin #1
connect cable #9 (BW) common relay pin #8
Connect/link earth cable #7 (B) to NO pin #3 and NC pin #5
Connect/link new fused live supply (permently on or interior light delay off?? ) to NC pin #4 and NO pin #6
cable 8 yellow and switch will now be redundant,
but when ignition switched on the mirrors open and close when ignition is off.
double check numbers on relays they can differ between manufactures

Separating harness, not absolutely necessary, but those with Pioneer Satnav will/should already have one fitted that can be used.

Just completed the JDM auto folding mirrors on locking installation
Mirror folding button on dash panel still performs as normal.(and still not illuminated Tony

Just got my 930bt upgrade and iPhone now won't play music up USB. I needed the £70 dealer lead with USB and phono jack !!!!!
So got one delivered off flea bay for £3.39

What do you think of the new sat nav? - must admit I get confused by the models and as i'm about to get a new one dont want to end up with the Tescos model you enjoyed so much!

iPod control is great as is hands free
Not sure about DAB I think you can get an add on unit.

Model is much better but ensure they connect the speed pulse cable. Dealers reckon it's not needed but it definitely is.
iPod control is great as is hands free
Not sure about DAB I think you can get an add on unit.

I think there are software updates that will make a 910 into a 930 model
Make sure they connect speed pulse it IS required on the 930 for learning Route speeds and 3D etc.
I have to go back to them as they didn't connect mine.

funny that they would discontinue something thats current technology - but maybe using app's is the way they think people will access that kind of content in the future...and I guess their new gear supports that..

Yes as long as they use the Subaru supplied fitting kit (if upgrading a 320R then it should already be in, but need to make sure all connections are made re: signal inputs)

I have the 920BT and find it fulfils all my requirements for reasonable money.
The 20BT has a sightly larger screen, which folds away, and you can add two external video sources. It uses a full size SD card instead of microSD.
You also get voice activation.

The 320R has NO speed pulse connection so if he upgrades some "Dealers" deem the speed pulse cable as an unnesserary option to connect up as you know it will be hanging there in the adaptor harness and from the SAT NAV silly not to connect it Mikey
if you read chapter 32 page 150 onwards or search speed pulse you can see that the 900> and 20-30 models can use it to improve accuracy and set avg roads speeds to improve route selection IIRC IMHO
