I'm trying to avoid the whole remapping thing , it's not as quick as the impreza but it'll do what I need. Slight cosmetic changes will be all I'm doing.

The VAG engines respond EXTREMELY well to a remap. You're missing out. I'm sure Stu will confirm a decent proper remap will gain power and economy.

Not the same car but in a topgear magazine ive got the new Leon cupra round a track with the stig at the wheel was 1.2 secs faster than the BMW 235 that has more power so Seat clearly know how to make a drivers car if they want.

Neither of these are a requirement to me . Though I do understand the appeal to some.

I bought my missis a 120d m sport yesterday....was quite surprised with it .

Now where can I get it mapped

Is the only way to "clear" the DPF filter by going on a 30+minute 40mph drive ? I wouldnt mind going for a spirited drive once a week , but 30 mins at 40mph would be a stretch for me.

well i got the leon (very pleased with it) and read the book regarding the DPF and its says to drive in 5th/6th gear (over 2k revs) for 15mins. Achievable I hope by my 10 mile weekly trip to my Mums on a Sunday . I'll find out tomorrow, and if not there is a different route i can go thats a bit longer.
