I feel very sorry for Mitch Winehouse - a man who clearly loved his daughter, despite his best efforts over years to put her back on her feet, each time someone or something brought her back to her old addictions.
Sad end to a life - regardless of what view you held of her.

at the end of the day if it was family or not so many people are two faced on here they didnt like here when she was here now shes dead everyones sayin how much of a loverly person she was bla bla and she will be missed never liked her so not going to change my mind now only because shes over done it on the crack. sory if no one agrees but everyone intitled to an opinion

I'm not passing any judgement on her drug-taking one way or t'other. The mind is fragile/strange thing.
At the end of the day a genuine talent is no longer with us - and that in itself is sad/tragic.
RIP Amy - your great SINGING/SONGWRTING, and the pleasure it brought to millions woldwide, will be missed. From 'our' point of view, it's such a waste.

The only similarity is that she's dead... to be fair I never liked her music, and for the record she wasn't exactly "pork-able" either... so all a bit of a busted flush for the drug addict.... still it's her family that suffer for her acts now, her last selfish act completed.

My very best mate as a teenager was james honeyman Scott from the Pretenders. He made the big time but died at a VERY young age

talented ! you lot must be on crack too,as for personality then get real,what troubles (other than her boyfreind and her falling out)did she have ? none that would make you want to smoke crack and heroin and drink yourself to death,if thats what did happen,yea she was loved by fans,had loads of money and was fortunate enough to do something she liked in life and not had to do.what a loser.sorry if that grates but its true.
