BBS Forged wheels

Seems strange that the nuts would sit flush with the rim as this would allow play between the wheel and stud, the tapered nuts stop this happening by forcing the wheel to stay centered around stud, hence bbs having a tapered edge the same as the enkei wheels, well they are on both my sets anyway.

Ive probably got it wrong then. What angle taper are on yours? Ive got a set with 60 degree at mo and they just dont seem right. Some one told me they where for wheels which need a tapered nut like the team dynamics I have. Cheers for the answers.

There is a set of these wheels in 100 PCD form on eBay uk with tyres for £499 plus £50 shipping but they are a bit rough and need a refurb. I was considering getting them but I've just found a set of Rays Volks CE28N wheels instead.

Sounds like you have a not too standard STI mate. Still good to hear that the BBS DO make a significant difference. I'm considering getting these as well, but prices of these are
I might know the weight difference. I have a fair bit of info lying around in my computer. I'll see if i can find some info on this.

Well I've now got myself a set of 5x100 BBS alloys, they are in need of a refurbishment and will be going back to the factory gold.
I've been after a set of these for a while and they will be alternated with the Volks CE28N's that I have.

Thanks I've always wanted a set of these, when I was at PCAD on Saturday with a guy who has a set who was talking about getting them refurbed in order to sell them on, so after some brief negotiations the deal was done.
When I find out from the guy who is refurbishing mine I will let you know.
Rest assured I will take some pics when they are on the car, I might just keep the Volks for shows etc, but it will be nice to have a choice depending on how I want the car to look.

Seeing this thread has made me remember to post up the colour code for the BBS gold wheels, I had it and then forgot to post it up.
The Subaru paint code is GK1 which is an exact match, any local paint supplier should be able to cross refer this to their own colour scheme.
Better late than never.
