If you can dish it out then you should expect it back in return...

Lets put this to bed.

1. You were way behind so couldn`t see, I chose to air on the side of caution and NOT to overtake around a blind bend. I wasn`t able to see further than the two Subarus in front and they went around on the straight, I saw the cars go past and the road bend away to the left so I could no longer see, so I chose not to carry on (some were doing this I was NOT).

2. As for being "out of control" how could you see, and further more see number 1 above, I CHOSE to not to put myself or anyone else in danger by not overtaking around a blind bend, and if you drive quickly on a road in a car with no ABS as standard, then occasionally you will lock a wheel ( I need no driving aids to drive quickly). The fact nothing happened proves the car was in control, and not stuffed into a mini-bus/hedge.

3. Banter is banter, but ***** waving is ***** waving. Banter is saying Classics are better than Newage on a track.
***** waving is

Actually I was one car behind you and had a perfect view of the road ahead and was well aware of the downhill left hand bend that you had to pull in quickly from and then brake so severely that you locked up your brakes and put the car out of shape.

My car also has no ABS and having owned it for a year I still haven't locked the brakes up, I wonder why that is?

If you notice all of my quoted you have used have used smilies, these I use to inject some humour and I can assure you are tongue in cheek.

Now let's move on, I don't intend on spending anymore of this thread being involved with tit for tat retorts.

What time of year are you thinking of Jimbob?

Perhaps my "tiny" trackday Honda CRX will be MOT'd and ready for some action by then. If not I may venture out in the "big" 350z instead. Perhaps I have an Average **** as I have both tiny and big cars

........as for Ty and Jimbob's continued bitching.......you two must be married or something.....get a room and work it out of your systems lads....too much tension

Just a word to the wise James,I speak from experience when i say that make sure you get all the payments in before you even book the track. I was left cosiderably out of pocket on the one i organised. You get the usual people sayin yes i'll be there and then no show Mine worked out around £60 each IIRC

Just ask the guy on The MLR trackday a couple of years back who was bragging about his 480bhp Evo 9 and then duely got spanked buy a £500 Seat Ibiza Cupra

Moral of the story is, keep mouth shut till you see what else is around

Ive also seen a Fiat 500 (original) beat a Ferrari over a 1/4 mile

Yeah deffo Paypal details will be put up and your ONLY confirmed when paid up. And all prices would be based on a confirmed list, once you pay you have no refund as its not fair on the other people (unless the whole thing doesn`t go ahead), and if you confirm your going and don`t pay then its their fault it can`t go ahead/costs more.

Don`t wanna be an **** about it, but its a LOT of money and sure no one wants to be mucked around.

A 480 bhp Evo is only fast accelerating from a stand still and corner exiting speed. Once rolling I've seen many a lesser powered FWD keep up and enter corners quicker. Also once you have experienced 880 bhp per ton of acceleration on a sports bike almost any car feels slow.

I suppose though it's better to lock the wheels under braking, rather than use the gearbox to do it for you.

You were waiting for it I dare say?

That's the problem. I paid up last time and could not go so sold my place to someone else and did not leave anyone out of pocket.

You'll get loads saying they will go, even put their names on the list but never pay or go. You will then be left trying to rustle up people at short notice. It happened on the McRae Weekend .

Yeah totally agree thats why I have many people asked and looks like 30 will come, so if a few drop out thats not too bad.

If when the costings are done we`ll get monies in, and then once all are in we`ll book it, if someone wants to pull out after this its up to them to either get someone to buy their place, or to lose out.

End of the day none of us are made of money, and if you are fancy buying a day in Llandow for your mates??

This is how the banter is done. These two are old school sparring partners! Been going on for years! Not a fist been thrown, although there were rumours of the occassional hug...

We 'argue' like children but act like adults, that's the best way.

The Evo setup was a classic and my psychiatrist has told me I should get over it within the next 10 years or so...
