The Coilovers for the money are spot on, apart from one issue which im either going to take up with the Raceland or sort myself. One rear shocker clunks when the rear shocker on that particular side becomes weightless (over large rises or bumps) I spoke to Raceland direct and got a replacement within a week, which when coming from belgium is very good, howeve rthe replacement is excatly the same
The ride and handling is pretty much unaffected, but the "odd" clunk from something new isnt a bit of a mith. I believe they are now on eBay for £300 ![Thumb](images/smilies/thumb.gif)

Are you sure the clunk isn't from your anti-roll bar drop links?
That's what my knock turned out to be, but only after I'd replaced the rear struts

There is a distinct lack of 'Gentlemen' around these days. When I was selling my last car I had no end of people who were rude offering silly money, or agreeing to let me know later that day after viewing if they wanted it, only for me never to hear from them again.
In the end a really decent bloke got in touch. He loved the car, but wanted a 12 month ticket on it. I was reluctant to do it as it had 5 months left, but in the end we worked out a deal where he paid for the MOT. It sailed through with one an advisory on the windscreen.
He was waiting on a pension payout and was buying it as a 50th birthday gift to himself but the pension company were messing him about. As well as this he was off on holiday for 2 weeks. I offered to keep the car at my place if he paid a deposit this would hold it until he was back and his funds cleared. He actually asked if I'd sell it if I got another higher offer!
I couldn't believe people would do something like that but he'd had this happen before. As far as I'm concerned if you accept an offer, look a man in the eye and shake on it, then the deal is done. To renege on it is just not on.
Myles, it's not worth getting annoyed about mate. Something better will turn up. Karma and all that
