It is an air temp sensor, so it can be disregarded. I stuck mine into the cold air feed to see the air temp on the power fc commander for a while.

how much room was there in the inner wing fot the ic pipe and the filter???
it must have been really tight?
did you manage to squeeze a decent size air filter in there?

It's not so much size but it's awkward trying to thread a hard pipe through the hole.

Not much room with stock lower splash guard in place, that's why I cut it off and made a new one in rubber. Also I drilled a hole where the water spray bottle normally is and made a new intercooler pipe.
Filter is a 8" AEM but the biggest 9" will also fit.
