AHH ! Yes saw yours sat in the main workshop - I hope the forklift placed that Evo on it's roof carefully... 
It took a year...
I paid a deposit and Bigarf delivered the heads in June 2010... but I wasn't in a rush, and a pal wanted a forged 2.5 building so I said leave mine till after that build.
Then AJ had a couple of BIG money builds to sort... and then about three months ago mine started to sound rougher than normal..
So Alan arranged collection and the rebuild took around eight weeks.

P.S. Arf the dog probably would have loved your tea... but please stay out of the shed for your sake, or she'll kill you.

It's worse than that, as I'm on holiday, so sat here with no car and nothing to do.
I will have to wash it next after some 10 weeks in Bigarf's shed...
And not really in a hurry as "The JGM" himself is away for two more weeks, so it can't get mapped anyway.
( I think I am getting a wee bit excited now ! ), just need to cycle 20 miles to "the shed" ready for the firing up of said motor...

Ten weeks and four days, not that I was counting
"She Lives !", after a wee scare with a leaky injector, we spun her up without spark-plugs and got a big fat zero on the Defi ( as expected ! ).
Plugs in and crank sensor in, she fired up and gently steamed at 1800 rpm.
Even Bigarf had a grin on his face.
Took her for a spin to break her in and then dumped the oil & filter, which was pretty black ( cam lube etc ? ). Then I headed back towards home for some V-power.

No real feedback yet, as it's way too early to judge, but at 0.2 bar of boost and around 3000 rpm, she left the traffic behind easily...
So now it's time to clock up some miles, then swap to a semi-synthetic, and then around 1000 miles get her mapped to 1.4 bar till she's around the 3K mark then a fully synthetic oil and a proper map

I've just had my fmic fitted now waiting for Andrew carr to come off holiday
So I can have it mapped also having fuel pressure regulator fitted and 440 injectors fitted at Richard henry's
