Blackberry for work, battery is amazing, it reads Microsoft docs fine and the email is spot on. However web browsing is shocking. Very slow going. Doesn't bother me though, as I say it is for work.
Personal phone Xperia Arc. Brilliant bit of kit, amazing camera, battery life terrible though.
Mrs just picked up an Xperia Neo and that seems to have better battery life as the screen is smaller. Also a bit chunkier but comes in a nice metallic blue to make up for it.

Email on the go is nice, but you are right it is annoying and a bit narcissistic when everyone 'checks in' to this or that club/pub/toilet and puts it on facebook.

Gents, perhaps someone here can help. IVe got a HTC Desire HD on Orange. Ive set up my email to recieve demon webmail, but if I try to reply it never seems to send, unless Im at home, using my home broadband / going through demon's mail system.
It seems that Demon only allows demon customers / clients to send emails, and if I got via orange internet, demon refuses it, which I can understand but need a work around.
How can I sort this out ??

Got a Jailbroken iphone3gs at the moment. And despite being a heavy Mac user, I've just not gelled with it at all. I thought the jailbreak would help, but right now I'm looking at a Blackberry to replace it with.
Looked at Android stuff, but it just seems too fragmented for my liking. iPhone 4, well, my biggest issue is that it's pointless committing to a 2yr contract on a phone that's about to be superseded. + the aerial farce is too much to bear. I have a case for my 3gs because I choose to, not because I have to.
That said, when I'm about to commit (any day now), I'll probably bin the whole lot and got mobile-free!!

Plus I never use a case and I don't drop calls but I'm just lucky I guess. Either that or I know how to hold my phone...

I just got a Blackberry. Mostly because it has a very secure push email system that is very hard for the government to control in the event of an insurrection or if I ever wanted to start a riot. Also I like the QWERTY keypad.
I was thinking of an Iphone but they are quite pricey and I don't want to get too reliant on Apple.

Still, at least you'll be able to communicate with a few others when the world is burning
PS I'm thinking of going with something like this next time, as it has a keyboard

I went from a Blackberry 8900 Curve to a HTC Desire S.
The Blackberry was great as a phone and a email device. That's it.
I was getting fed up with p*ss poor internet speeds, lack of apps and the the phone crashing when you asked it to do something a little taxing.
With the Desire S, it is a great phone, txt/email device, web browser, camera, video player, gaming device.....I could go on.
My only complaint (and no, it's not the battery) is that my internet browser occassional crashes, may be once or twice a week.
And Tony, txting is easier on the Blackberry, no doubt, but it isn't 'difficult' on the touch screen HTC either.

I've got an iPhone 4 and very happy with it although do miss the traditional layout of my old blackberry (unfortunately my old company decided they wanted to take it off me and stop paying my bills when I left lol)
The mrs has just upgraded to an HTC sensation and that really is an impressive bit of kit
