Results in 2 weeks so fingers crossed for me

I had one of those as well and I sympathise with you. I can think of many better ways to spend an afternoon. Best wishes for the results.

I must say that with the three major operations I have had in recent years, my treatment has been totally without criticism. Maybe we are lucky in this part of the country, but the staff in the hospitals here do everything possible to help and comfort the patients. They obviously have the full vocation because they regard their job as being vital to do the very best they can for the patients.

I have seen the very opposite in hospitals further up country though, especially in the way my elderly mother was looked after, or not rather!

Les, We're quite lucky here too with hospitals as well as we have a teaching university hospital just down the road. Last year Mrs Chip's treatment for cancer was superb to be fair but again we have a cancer research hospital local to us as well, and she was diagnosed early and had immediate treatment as well from surgery all the way through to chemo and radio therapy and now fingers crossed all is looking for for the future
