I used Alister to map my forged 2.5. He travelled down to the borders to help me out and I thought he was a top fella, very helpful and professional imo. 389/384 at the wheels on Deltadash once it was mapped and drives like a lexus off boost!

I had my Bug Wrx wagon remapped by alistair last month . 282bhp on a standard turbo and runnin 1.4 bar. He knows his stuff , spent 3 hours with him , adjusting actuator, boost valve etc , also installed launch control ....taking it back to him when i get my vf34 TMIC , 550cc injectors and uprated fuel pump and boost valve ....he reckons 330 easy .....top guy with a wealth of knowlege on subs !! cant beat blasting up and down a coutnry road on a sat morning with the promise of more power

Small world eh?! Yep seen you on linburn road a few weeks back and mentioned it on ss.net,car looked and sounded amazing!! Very surprised to here its just a pro drive exhaust must be the HKS down pipe that is bringing the noise out off that prodrive ?!
You notice a big difference all round since the remap then? Fuel figures any better in general driving? Hopefully get across to see alisdair at trackhound sometime early next year. :-)

ive not got any experiance of trackhound , however RA motorsports in Perth are very helpful and A.Forrest is up there quite often.

As many people have said Andy is one of the best mappers in the country and for the sake of 80 quid extra , its a no brainer.

also if theres anything that needs swapped on your car , fuel pump etc etc , then Ra can help with that along with the mapping.

cheers

Hey Jonno , yeh very small world mate , yeh noticed a big diff in pull anyways , fuel not so much kinda up a little if i dont get the 3stone foot out lol , but well chuffed with midrange now and holds boost brilliantly . TNH it was kinda loud before i had the cats taken out , its a really good system on it and pops and bangs like **** lol ...id recommend Alistair i know hes cheaper and some people frown upon cheapness but to be fair he did as good a job with mine as i heard the Andy does so ill let people ake their own mind up , nothing like roaring up n down a country road on a sat morning for 3 hours though to see what kinda figures ya get lol

Trackhound is the 2nd top mapper in Scotland, SW Motorsport rates the guy, his own wagon is sitting at a nice 600+ bhp, nice power to go get milk at the shops eh, engine built, fitted & mapped by himself, Alistair charges £200 because he don't have overheads like paying for garage space etc. on mapping day if somthing is not right with your car he will get the tools out to sort the problem free of charge!!!, in my book that's a very helpfully guy.

Again have no doubt trackhound knows what he is doing. But again I have only ever used Andy Forrest and will continue to do so. Andy cars are mapped and built all by himself. He has also proved his car on more than 1 occasion

A lot more to come from his new car also
