Firstly, women are allowed to moan. We are growing (what is not always) a tiny human inside our body. I find that fukcing fantastic to be honest.

Pregnancy is massive sacrafice, but we do it because that's the way nature intended it to happen.
It is painful, you feel like crap you look even worse, you can't sleep, your skin looks like you use chip pan fat as mosturiser and you look and move like you have a cannon ball wedged up your crack.
That's before you have had to go into labour, and have your jack and danny ruined whilst the tiny human exits the 'host' and makes it's way into the world.

Then it all makes sense!
It's as if your body drains itself in a split second, and fills up with this overwealming feeling, of love and protection.
This tiny human has been made 100% by your bodies, and everything just falls into place.

Sure, your house will never look the same, but it turns from a house into a home.
There will be nappies coming out of your ears, and at some point you will have sick or poo or maybe both smeared on your clothes. But you won't care.

These babies grow to love you, and learn from you. They want you to be there to show them the world.

Why stop at one? Surely another one of them is just even more fun?

Our first started to sleep through the night (7pm-7am) at 8 weeks

Our second (currently 5 months old) has been sleeping though from 7 weeks (7pm-7/10am)

Its all about routine

Love the little outfits, our boy has a sheriff outfit he's grown out of and is currently in a cow outfit. Probably child abuse to dress him like that but he looks the business

I have one son who is 2 years 6 months, it has changed my life massively, My girlfriend has gone back to work fulltime, so im his main carer during the day which is fine but i work nights and finish anywhere from midnight to 4am and i'll have to get up at 7.30 regardles with him. So my main problem is sleep. but i love him and would never change what i have.

I think the missus wants to try for our first next year, its been mentioned a good few times now, i`m not looking forward to it to be honest.

Its got to happen at some point, and i have managed to put it off for so long (i`m 33), most of my mates have the bloody things now, every time i login to babybook in a morning before work, i am bombarded with baby stuff from everybody.

I could probably go my entire life without having one, i just see them as 18 years worth of ****y sleep and missing cash.

And i am terrible when i have ****ty sleep.

My eldest is 2 and a few months, and my youngest is 4 months, alot harder at work with two of them. But when me and the misses sit down come 8-8,30 we both look at each other knowing its worth it.

Mick, when my mrs was pregnant, the lack of sleep was my worst fear over anything else. But it really isn't that bad. Routine, organisation and pre planning make it a lot easier, believe me. My other worst fear was treating my son like I was treated by my step father, but ask anyone who knows me and I used those experiences to be the polar opposite.

The worst thing you can do is have a child you don't really want and not love it. But it takes a heartless **** or chav to do that.

My life changed completely, I have 3 teenage daughters and a son who will be 2 next Wednesday. I have no longer have control over my money, the TV or major decisions that need to be taken in the house; but strangely enough, it changed my life for the better, my life is completely full and I wouldn't change a thing!

My son at 2 can tell the difference between a classic, blobeye and a hawk and can hear an impreza from down the road, he's car mad! On my life, his 1st workd was car, and according to the Mrs it's all my fault. He eats and sleeps with his cars, and that's no exaggeration.

My middle daughter is an aspiring athlete and fills me with pride! In fact they all do!

I couldn't ask for more.

Thanks Rich. We didn't do it for praise or for people to think what wonderful people we are - heaven forbid We did it because we wanted a child, no matter how he came about.

To be honest, he is better behaved than most kids I know whose parents gave birth to them. We're extremely lucky!

a hell of a lot , i was 19 when i had my little girl i didn't even no i was haven't her , i was sitting down watching tele with the ex an she ran to the toilet because she thought she had weed her self then about an hour after she was having pains so took her to A,a,E an the doc's said it was her kidneys so gave her morphine an bout hour after she gave birth , she had no bump no signs she was up the duff till she dropped

I agree completely. Having just passed the 5 year mark with my missus, the questions of engagement and marriage are starting to creep into conversation and ultimately I can see the question of children being on the table within a few years. I hate children, unfortunately my missus doesn't.....there maybe trouble ahead......

Like I said before, some people don't like kids, have them and totally change their minds afterwards becoming fantastic parents. But some unfortunately have kids they don't really want and it is the child that suffers... I'd like to think you would be the former not the latter mate. But if you do do it, do it as you want a child/children, not to make your Mrs happy
