In the case of the Muslim threads I think 'even being mentioned' maybe stretching the litany of post heavy threads on the subject over the last twelve months a bit far

Then the arguments presented are matters of opinion.
But the reason they have been censored is solely because they are impolite to some people who find them an attack on their 'faces' and 'honor'. Nothing to do with arguments being right or wrong.
It was impolite in Stalin's Russia to criticise Stalin's rule.

Sure but the threads in question are either civil based on their content (i.e not slandering, or abusing etc) or they are not.

I was actually banned for my intentions behind those posts (trolling), and 'anti-community spirit'.

Of course I'm not joking. I reported it so that the mods could keep an eye on it, not for deletion. The thread started well with the video of outdated and hysterically paranoid mores, which was funny because we can laugh now at their misguidedness. Unfortunately it opened the door for vindictive gay-bashing from people who still harbour those archaic prejudices.
I'm appalled that the "M" word has been brought into it, though - it ought to have its own version of Godwin's Law on here. Speaking of which, Tony's managed to get one in by comparing the situation with Stalinist Russia.

Cultural-Marxism, that's what happened to it. Very much of the left (you'll notice the correllation on here) and ignoble in the tactics it employs: moral-blackmail, obfuscation and untruths. Will not (or cannot) engage in debate and discussion where fact, logic and reason has primacy, as the argument will be lost, therefor closes down debate or discussion by any means necessary.

OK so does this here freedom of speech you claim to be so fond of apply to anything then? And if I start a thread on something that I choose to throw out there for debate will the mods let it ride? If so we will have some fun

Well I will but we need our beloved mods to tell me whether JTaylor is right about this freedom of speech thing or whether I am looking at another ban depending on what I choose we should all debate

Seriously, I am all for freedom of speech (within reason, i.e. keeping things civil), it's all of you guys that moan about whether or not freedom of speech should be allowed (depending upon the subject).
I don't know what other mods would make of such an act though, they might view it as trolling if you deliberately start a thread to wind up another member.

How do you know why someone starts a thread unless they explicitly say, or the mod is a mind reader?
