Wow - quite touched by the response!
Many, many thanks to everyone for the kind words and website links etc - I always thought the Scooby community was full of really nice people, and this thread proves it (as if proof were needed). Through friends at Jordan, I have links to Williams, Renault, Toyota (I worked with the son of Ove Andersson (boss of Toyota F1 )), Minardi, Ferrari, Mclaren, Sauber, Citroen (WRC) and I'll be dropping Mike Wood (Prodrive) an e-mail soon too. Fingers crossed that should be enough pies to have fingers in, at least to start with!
It's actually a bit of a relief in a way - can you imagine what the atmosphere must be like for the remaining people? They've just seen many of their friends disappear and the whole team is totally demoralised, disspirited and depressed . I really hope they can pull through, and not go the way of Prost (and, shortly, Arrows from what I gather ).
I'll let you all know how I get on anyway, and thanks again In the meantime, does anyone know if Wax Wizard works on CVs?
Richard
ps Forgot to ask - can anyone remember what Mike Wood's e-mail address is?

BAR have just axed a load of people, so no point going there - except perhaps through Prodrive HRD are in a mess with an under-performing engine and are going nowhere, fast at the moment...

Bad luck Richard, hope you find something soon.
If you're interested I used to work in the IT department of Arrows F1 and can pass on the mail address of the IT manager there, mail me off line if this is any help.
All the best, Sean.

Buggers Sorry to hear that Rich.
Guess your post rate on here will be going up then.
Hope you get sorted soon. I'm sure you'll keep us up to date.
Regards,
Ian

Yep, post rate already higher
Sean - it's control software that I was doing rather than the IT side of things, and (from what I gather) Arrows are in dire straits at the moment and so are unlikely to be taking people on. Thanks all the same.
carpet - YHM Thanks!
Cheers

Been away from the PC for a couple of days and just read this. I'm really gutted for you.
I'll always remember the day you blagged me in to the Jordan pit garage. I'm sure I still owe you for that.
Good luck in finding a new job.
We still have a few contacts with some F3000 teams that I'll try and dig out for you.
