Anybody have an opinion on Steve Simpson of teg sport? He's close to me, but when I visited recently for a power run to check fuelling, the whole outfit seemed very amateurish and had really really bad customer service, but if he maps ok I may use him as he is only 5 miles away!

That's interesting to know! I've seen alot of rally outfits and wasn't particularly impressed with teg sport tbh. But now I know Steve was behind the simtec ecu I may give him another chance!

Richard has been mapping my cars since 2007 and he was instrumental to enabling my old Spec C to win the ScoobySprint Final in 2009. My old Spec C was certainly on Hydra, which managed to bang out over 600bhp on a standard position non-billet GT30 core'd turbo (running on Q16). I'm still fairly certain this hasn't been beaten to this day on that size core(although I'm sure someone will shoot me down in flames lol).
I'm getting old now, so the current car is on the OEM ECU.... but Richard is playing a key role in it's project work.
So yeah... got a lot of time for Richard.
