Dont want to pay any form of tax yet want all the benefits of the tax system, dont want to pay for building land and to abide by planning laws so build anyway.
Whoever sold the land to them in the first place should be answering a few questions.
Its funny how the rest of the population are at the very least wary of them, everyone has a story and its rarely a good one, shame the fairground people get the same view but I think most of them do the season in a caravan and then live in a house the rest of the year, doubt many of those those pound coins go to the taxman though !

I found BBC Breakfast particularly irritating in their coverage this morning. It appeared to imply I was expected to feel sorry for them.
Wittering about being diabetic and not being able to sleep in case they come at night etc etc.
Complete rubbish. And how the hell do they afford an RR Sport FFS? Where does all that money come from? They should get with the f*cking program and conform or f*ck off out of it.

I utterly detest / hate all the thieving Gypsy scum, they should all be deported back to their country of origin and if they are British born then let's say a convenient half way point like the middle of the Irish Sea. 
There is a council site in Cardiff on Rover Way, you can see the scum going about their 'honest' trade as you pass the entrance and it looks like Beiruit on a bad day. They smash it up complain to the council who them come in and repair it, ready for the next round of damage.
I remember seeing a British Gas van being driven in the site and saw the junior Gypsy scum behind the wheel. I pulled over just up the road and rang the local rozzers. I was told in effect to keep out of it as the vehicle was insured and if they went in to recover the van then it would mean going in with full riot gear.
I drove past the site 2 hours later and the van had been pushed outside the site but was missing it's bonnet, all 5 doors, engine, gearbox, lights etc in effect it had been totally stripped. The Police turned up later on and had the van recovered, does not send out a good message to the public and just encourages the thieving scum to do it as they are in effect 'above the law'.

I'd hazard a guess that most of their supporters are of considerably lower IQ than the national average. They're either that or 'commies' jumping at the chance to feel needed; or, in the case of the 'celebrities', to get their faces on tv/in the papers/again feel needed or appear to be doing something 'good' in order to feel gratitude among their champagne socialist peers.
I notice the UN standing up for the 'human rights' of these dregs of society. Collateral damage in Libya not such an issue, but evicting people who are actually breaking laws is a matter to be concerned about?
You couldn't make this sh*te up. If it wasn't in the newspapers they'd be evicted long ago and justice would be done.

I'm working tonight and part of our job now unfortunately involves driving around our work sites checking for thieving tinkers on the lookout for copper and diesel. A few weeks ago I found 2 wandering at 2 am in the morning, they knew they had been spotted as they immediately came up to me and asked if I had seen their dawg.
We have a notice board at work of photos of vehicles caught on our land and not one of the vehicles (with the exception of an 02 reg corsa van) is over 5 years old.
The days of driving a battered escort van with a tax in post sticker are long gone, it's mercedes sprinters these days for our tax dodging traveller friends.

Sorry, but the 'text' speak and lack of ability with the English language means I give up after the first sentence. Sorry, after the first few words, as the almost complete lack of punctuation means that sentences are an alien concept to the 'authors' of those pieces.
On a slightly different note, these people are supposed to be "poor", so how did they get the finance to a) buy the farm in the first place and b) build so many damn houses????

urgh
here in colchester they setup a purpose area for them down near the river, even built little brick sheds with lockable doors etc for them
the whole place ended up a mess, they completely fecked over the place then left....
we also had them setup camp in a public playing field opposite my parents during xmas
watching them play destruction derby in the field with cars they had blatently nicked.
left after new years leaving glass from the cars everywhere, various smashed up cars, and lots of other rubbish :/
The Police etc did nout, even when we reported to them that kids were driving the cars into each other etc
maybe there are some gooduns' but all i ever see is the worst of them
kick them out, they broke the law, get rid.

because on various documentaries of late they've been described as 'irish travellers', different to other types of gypsy. and lets face it, they hardly speak with 'local' accents do they? i didn't say all irish are pikeys, merely those who claim to be irish should **** off back to oiland. comprendez?

I'm guessing it was probably some of our non-brick-building-dwelling cousins that nicked the cables around the new cross gate area the night before last making me 2 1/2 ghours late for work too! *******!

I caught a couple of tinkers at 6am this morning on our works site driving around with no lights on. Apparently their reason they were trespassing was because the had lost their "dawg"
If these ******* put as much effort into earning a honest living as they did trying to steal metal and diesel, then they would be loaded.
