What counts basically is that the land is in the Green Belt and there is no planning permission for most of their style of accommodation.
Regardless of who is the site owner, no one has the right to flout the laws of the land.

I'm working tonight and part of our job now unfortunately involves driving around our work sites checking for thieving tinkers on the lookout for copper and diesel. A few weeks ago I found 2 wandering at 2 am in the morning, they knew they had been spotted as they immediately came up to me and asked if I had seen their dawg

We have a notice board at work of photos of vehicles caught on our land and not one of the vehicles (with the exception of an 02 reg corsa van) is over 5 years old.
The days of driving a battered escort van with a tax in post sticker are long gone, it's mercedes sprinters these days for our tax dodging traveller friends.

Have you seen any 'so-called' men at the site? These tough pikies are letting their ladyfolk fight their battles for them 
OR, are they the ones laying down the tarmac on the entrance they will use to enter the site? 1mm thick ....

Are they not leaving it a bit late in the day to get started? Surely it would have been better to turn up early in the morning rather than let tensions rise through the day. I know it can't all be done in a day, but I think they should have it underway by now.
