Such a skillful debater you manage to contradict your own advice in the space of a two short sentences, how very impressive

Palestine as a country has never existed, Palestinians are the gypos of the Muslim world

Besides, I do believe that before it was Israel, it was actually known as part of the British Empire

It is the legal protection Jewish people have against criticism.

As for the Palestinians they are simply pawns. If the Arab world really wanted to help them out they would. Just don't mention the six day war. If Israel did not exist Palestine would not be a million times better. However, this does not excuse the cowardly terrorising acts the Israelis get up to. Israel does something, some Palestinian reacts and it's tit for tat. If Palestine started being all goody two shoes do you really thing Israel will start practising love they neighbour? The whole place is a mess.

Have to agree with that, if you look back to the mid 40's when the british occupied palestine, it was the jews killing british soldiers by the dozen in the name of "freedom".
I'm not anti jew but tbh they really need to sort their act out.

I always thought it was to do with **** Germany but it seems many countries have been shown to have antisematic behaviour through the years including England, Spain, Portugal, Russia....I'm sure there is more but thats just what i've gleened over via wikipedia. Seems very strange.
It is a fact that they are very good in business affairs as well as energetic in those directions so they become very successful, largely by their own efforts.

Its the sort of success which generates "Green Eyes" at the drop of a hat.

You miss the fact that Israelis are a people Israel is the name they gave to occupied Palestine
I was making a point, the Israelis demand the right to self determination and in the same breath refuse that same right to the Palestinians. It seems odd that the supporters of invasion and occupation cling on to the mantra that Palestinans did not have a state; they were and still are a people evicted from their homes by violence and murder.
The Israeli s and their supporters seem to think that not having a state designated by law prevents the palestinians from being a people and by logic means those same people have no right to life, freedom or self determination in anyway.
The vote to have the Palestinian state recognised by the EU will be an interesting one if it happens. It might reign in the murderous tendencies of the occupiers.

PS: Why don't you direct some of your bile at the Jordanians and Syrians for once

They both attempted genocide of the Palestinians, before they realised what a great propaganda tool (and source of bomb delivery systems) a group of oppressed and homeless people could become

What does that have to do with shooting dead a load of Turks trying to deliver food aid in international waters 70 miles from Israel coast.

The western media only seems to report Palestinian atrocities and are only too quick to plaster it on the news, yet they seem to omit the cause of the violence was a Israeli sniper blowing off an 8 year old childs head whilst taking pot shots.

I'm not defending either side but if you believe Israel to be some kind of poor innocent victim in all this then you are very much mistaken.

Just imagine if England did this to the Scots and the Welsh.

You need to do a bit more research on this, foxarm; dig a little deeper.

As I have said on this forum before, it is a Christian phenomenon.

Overall, I would put it down to the fact that Christianity was created to counter Jewish thinking. Plus they have some form in this regard, as the Jews tried to get their own back by killing the first Christian.

Being an expansionist religion Christianity has a hugely greater number of followers. Since the advent of Christianity, Jews have become a minority wherever they lived.

As Christianity and society evolved Jews were clearly seen to be in the way and an easy target to persecute. I feel sorry for them, but still, could be worse, you could be a...

Right, off down to the pub, hope this thread is still intact for when I get back.

A couple of things....

I know a girl who went to a certain uni that was full to the brim of Jews. she was mates with a lot of them, and then one day it came out that she wasn't jewish, they all just assumed she was (she does look like it admittedly) and then they started to give her the cold shoulder a bit. There were also lots of things she mentioned that the jews all do/did with being their own society. There was a bloke she was sort of seeing but he ended it all because she wasn't jewish. jokes on TV that were against jews but in a playful manner (family guy etc) or jokes they made they all laughed at, but when my mate laughed they were disgusted with her. And then theres the jobs they all seem to walk in to. If a jew who owns a company or knows of a job in another company that is also jew owned, the job will go to a jew. guaranteed.

Also my nickname within my circle of mates is "jewish" or "jew". apparently i'm tight with money

Sure does.

As for the rest of the thread... debated to death aleady on here... there is no arguing with prejudice on either side. It will end up locked as they all do!

I am not Muslim (or Christian for that matter) and have an issue with them calling themselves 'God's chosen people' - where does that leave the rest of us?!

Well, Sikhs aren't a part of the Abrahamic tradition, are they, Mr SuperStud, so you're already out of that particular picture? As for Christians and Muslims, they need to come to terms with the fact that the Jews were the founders; it's just how it is. Zoroastrians could have a just grievance, but their brand of monotheism never really had a chance after Muhammed's arrival. History's happened.
