So.............youngest buys a set of 17's from e-bay, we have to go to south of Norwich to collect them. Guess who has to do the driving?
OK, so the roads are FULL, caravans and lorries. Get behind either on the A17, and boy, are you fekked. Result: nearly FOUR hours each way to do 280 miles round trip
And while I'm on a rant about that, HOW many cars have I got berhind today happy to truindle along at 50-55mph in a 0 limit? HOW many? Aaaaaaaargh!
We get the wheels home, the tyres are 215/50 17", and FAR too big for the wheel arches. Has he done his homework? Nope.
Now we will have to lend him money to get all four tyres replaced, although we might be able to sell two........
Next, I open the garage door to get the jack, etc and someone has dumped something heavy on top of a 5 litre plastic container of washing up liquid: it's all over the floor necessiatating a total scrub up and flush.
And while I'm on with that, I ask the eldest to tidy an area in the garage, where he now has FIVE bikes and three spare frames, and while doing so, he knocks a 2.5 litre tin of paint off the shelf......cerise emulsion in a nice pool about two square feet and splattered over sundry items in the garage
Have a guess who ended up clearing it up? THEN clearing the washing up liquid? THAT stuff takes an age to get up, an hour later and it's STILL frothing like a virgin's f@nny
Now I'm sat here and my bad back/sciatica is singing a very unhappy song.
Sundays.........who'd have 'em?
