Non smoker - thinks its a disgusting habit & very little patience with those that do. Often wondered why the majority of smokers at work are also work shy ?
Oh hang on it the perfect excuse to skive

I took up smoking when I was a lad for all the reasons that young people do, and because in those days it was not generally considered the danger to health that it is.
I was well and truly hooked, but thank goodness I managed to kick it quite a few years ago, and would actually dislike the thought of ever smoking again.

Non smoker. Never had the slightest urge to try either.
Parents smoked when i was younger. Dad stopped first - rising costs I think, then mum had a heart attack about 7 years ago and she was in hospital 6 weeks waiting for an angiogram (delays due to consultants going on holiday!). She hasnt smoked since.
Whilst she was in hospital, dad was diagnosed with cancer of the tongue. Had to have half his tongue removed. Can't eat solids, his speech isnt great and they said that was down to his smoking & drinking when he was in the navy.
So no, havent smoked, won't smoke. And wish others would'nt as it can do so much damage, but each to their own
