My son went for a job interview recently and was asked if he could get rid of his green hair if he was successful - he got the job and the green hair has gone, unfortunately it's not quite that easy with a tattoo.
I'm not against them btw, have a couple myself that can be easily covered up, but not a fan of neck tattoos - just don't like them each to their own.

Depends how old the person really, and how fresh the Tatts. If it was just some stupid teenage thing (because it is childish and stupid) .... and they are now 40+ then I would go on what they offer now.
If, however, they are fresh and the person concerned is 40+ then, yes, I would have to question their state of mind .... makes sense.
If they have new Tatts and are 30+ then they haven't grown up yet - or have issues of low self esteem and trying desperately to 'fit-in' with their peers ..... so, weak willed and of poor judgement.
It DOES say a LOT about you - whether you agree or not.

Why would you care what other people do. I would be more concerned how old and twisted I was becoming if I were you.
Neck tattoos are a poor choice unless in the industry in my opinion they are along side hands and face for acceptability in society.
Being tattooed doesn't mean you are conforming or you are weak willed thats hilarious. Is shaving a conformity or cutting your hair to fit in. Everything is personal choice and taste.

In my opinion you can tell the difference between the stylish art people have on their bodies and the 'look at me, I'm a double 'ard *******'
Ive got two very good friends that are covered in them. The one with his design all over his shoulder and arm looks cool but the other one with a start on his ear lobe, chains on his wrists, webs on his elbows and f**k off on the inside of his lip looks a proper ****. He had those in the days where he was a bit of a naughty boy. We know him so it's like wallpaper to us but you see peoples reactions if we go places. He looks like a modern day skinhead!!
I think the point I'm trying to make is, art on the neck will be looked upon as artistic but 'beffany' & 'cortneh' on each side of the neck in big letters looks a tw@t.

What does a lady have to do to be a homemaker? I can't cook, I do clean, that's about it, but I did all that when I worked, sadly it never did itself.
On forms I am unemployed most of the time, sometimes a houswife, and then sometimes retired as it's the closest option!
So call me what you wish, im not too fussed

I wouldn't agree with fellow colleagues, they seem civil unlike you cos you don't understand a friendly joke and judging by your use of language you like to act big but your just a big knoobhead !!

I'm devastated... truly I am, never ever has anyone posted such a truly horrendous and cutting retort as you did tonight.... calling me a "knoobhead" and I thought we were all fellow Subaru enthusiasts.... I'm so upset I may have to withdraw from public life forever.

Yes, only on Scoobynet.
Back on track, DCI... Those tattoos on facebook are shocking. That girl defending that crappy dog paw/tree/music thing is only 17. Her mum consented for her and her friend to have them done at someones house!

I have my starsign (taurus) tattoo'd on my neck along with others on my body. The one on my neck represents what type of person i am, google taurus and its meanings, the tatts on my body are my own individual designs which show my taste's within my private life and are covered when in public. I am as it happens quite well built, also well educated within the motor industry and I had four jobs before i left school which included some accountancy work for kmessenger. After i left school i got a really well paying job which i still have but because i now have tattoo's does that mean i am a headcase and my employers should sack me for it? Or because i work hard and take pride in being able to do what others cannot should they keep me? You be the judge of that! I judge no one by appearance, its far more ideal to learn who they are before any judgement is made. So when's the 'ladies with big ****' (+supporting pics) thread going to be started? i like the sound of that one , not that im a perv or anything like that .

I know what a complete mong.... I'll wager it was on her recommendation that they ended up visiting that tattooist, otherwise why would you keep saying everything was exactly as she wanted??
