Well she soon scuttled off when I explained that kitchen tattooist don't have the required steralising equipment and that hep b cannot be killed off using a steam steriliser.
Maybe I scared her? But she should be scared.

Rogo - Like I said earlier, for every one decent hardworking person with a neck tattoo, there will be 15 others that are dhs / scummy / low life, walking down the street, hoody on, walking their staffy.

Its all about perception / first impressions, and as much as its better to judge someone from within, lets be honest, life isnt like that.

Dont get me wrong, i respect tattoos that are created due to life experiences, or meaning, and wouldnt rule out my children's names on me somewhere hidden. But, many tattoo's nowadays are more from fashion.

Eventually the younger generation will grow older and take over jobs / management positions, and no doubt things like tattoos / peircings will be look upon differently. If you look at how `reserved` society was in the 50/60's to now, then obviously things like this will relax.

All I can say is that currently, finding work / careers within this poor financial climate is already difficult, so why instantly disadvantage yourself by reducing the number of potential employers but having a neck tattoo ?? I suppose this depends on the industry your want to go into, but for anything office related / customer facing, where you are employed it will have an effect.

Women with tattoos. My opinions change here a little, as tattoos on girls can be rather 5exy :-) Guys, lets be honest, if you see a girl with a tattoo on her t1t, you instantly think she's a little bit ropey ? So, again, tattoos are cool, if done classfully, and strategically.

Mind you, any lady that wants to have my name tattoo'ed on to the back on her neck, mmm that is one fine sexy tattoo :-)

Most of what you said makes sense .... except the quote above I don't quite understand.

If I saw a girl with a tat on her tit I would automatically assume that you wouldn't have to work very hard to sleep with her, in fact, she would probably drag me into the sack and eat me alive! So, to me, it is the sign of alley cat morals and a disrespect for ones body.

So, not a long term bet - just a quick bunk-up .... certainly not a marraige prospect, surely?

As for a girl who would want my name tattoo on the back of her neck? Nah, no thanks, I look for some intelligence in my partners ...... that would just show that only 1 brain cell was operational.

I think lovers names are the worst thing to have as a tattoo.

It's setting you up for a failed relationship.

Worst advert for tattoos, in my opinion, is David Beckham.

Good looking lad, decent body. But by Christ has he ruined it now. Utterly awful.

Just the chav in him coming out, eventually...

yes im sure she would Mr Pitt ??

you judge people buy image alone, thats a good way to build relationships, asses character and come to a well founded conclusion of every single female with a tattoo on her tit!

and if you could just run me through your daily diet so i can assess how much respect you actually have your your body, i presume youve never indulged in drug taking by smoking, drinking alcohol or even ever drank coffee or tea or any caffinated drink as that is just tuly disrespectful to your body.

well i make my judgements from reading regular posts to assess a character, or "internet character" as it may be - and your an old fashioned, atagonistic bullsh*tter. who seems purley to be forever posting total rubbish in order to get some kind of response? have you nothing better to do with your time?

Having just walked across the city centre in this heatwave, the quality of tats on all the fat people's flesh is truely a site to behold.

tats are like marmite, you love or hate them.

I hate them with a passion. I just don't understand the need to draw on yourself to pretend to be an individual.

problem is 99% of the tatooed masses seem to go for koi carp, some random tribal bollox's or some chav name like "madison" in gothic script.

I can admire a beautiful piece of artwork, but you rarely see it.

its back to the smoking debate: why do those who smoke seem least likely to be able to afford it and equally why do those who need a tat, always seem to never have the money to get anything decent ???

another thing that winds me up: those manky ear spacers you see kids wearing now, to expand their ear lobes ! jeez.

My spelling / grammer is dreadful too. :-)

I agree with Plewis about tit tats, but didnt want to offend hence why I described girls who have them as ropey. What Plewis described is a far more accurate reflection of my views too, i.e. bird is well up for it and is easy. Bit harsh, but from my experience very true.

I cant see why any lady would want to disfigure such a horny part of thier body :-) As for my name, well Im a very dominant male, and feel I own my lady. Yes, many would disagree and say I have issues, but tough, its how I feel.

I love tramp stamps too, as I feel the person obviously enjoys ******* style, as she's given me something to aim from when Im behind her ! :-)

I wouldn't say a 'tramp stamp' has to be on the back, I always thought a tamp stamp was a term to describe the type of tattoos that you would pick out of a book. The small sort you see on various parts of trampy looking girls.

Well, I am an old fart .... not one girl in my day would lower herself enough to engage in tattoo abuse. They had far more respect for themselves than that.

The forces blokes and builders had them done ..... but, it is kind of expected from them.

My Grandad was in the Merchant Navy and had them on his arms - he made me swear that I would never do such an idiotic thing - he had his head screwed on, I didn't, and haven't, so can command a top job with top money (by showing that I am strong in character).

So is it seems that certain areas of the body signify a type of behaviour.

I was under the impression the tramp stamp was specific to the lower back / just above the **** part on a woman.

Essentially a younger lady with said tattoo would probably end up with lots of different varieties of man porridge being fired over it before the end of her sexual days. Hence, tramp stamp.

I could be wrong but that was my take on it.

Any man here with a woman that has a tattoo on the lower back not deliberately decorated it with their love blunderbus?

^^^^^ hahaha spot on.

I had a Russian girlfriend and she couldnt understand why people wanted tramp stamps over here. In Russia, having this tattoo showed that you were someone's 8itch in prison and were regulary rogered.

Im a fair man, so if any of the girls of scoobynet want to post up some pics of thier tattoos, and location, then Im willing to review them and change my opinion :-)

Well, I can't be bothered posting the pics, and one isn't really safe for me to put here.

As stated, one is a tramp stamp, the other in the upper back area, and the third is on my hip/stomach/lady area.
