it worked for me just 2 weeks ago... for safety though it needs fixing properly asap

ABS lamp has been part of the test for as long as I can remember, best your tester refers to the manual mate!
We all know a friendly MOT tester to slip through emissions test but blatantly ignoring the rules and not knowing what constitutes a failure and giving incorrect info is what gives garages bad names!
