Looks like i'll be in the Peugeot... Attempting to fit a new samco inlet and its not going well! Got the standard git out, but can't see how i'm going to get the Samco in without taking the inlet manifold off and thats a bit over my head to be honest. Anyone successfully fitted a Samco to a version 5 without removing the inlet manifold?

Cheers Kev, I will have a nose. What height are the spacers on yours? I don't want to go too high as it'll throw the alignment out on the STI 8 top mount and we just about got it to fit retaining the strut brace.

Sorry I couldn't make it due to a last minute problem, I realise you were all probably in floods of tears because I wasn't there.

It wasn't the same Ty, i had to lay an extra plate at the table to ensure you weren't fogotten.

Won't be doing it this weekend Ian, as i'm dog sitting. Just ordered a Cosworth insulating inlet manifold gasket from Advanced, and i may get some Red Crackle paint for the manifold and repaint it whilst its off. The Moose said he'll give me a hand so hoping to do it next weekend as i've got the Friday and Saturday off. Toying with the idea of re-routing the oil breathers to a catch tank while the inlet manifold is off too I wish i'd just leave things alone!
