Feel for you buddy.
My life is similar, work for 12 hours, get home, get a lesson in "things I did wrong again" from the wife, whilst she has been sat at home all day. I.e I did not hang the washing up right, I did not fill the dishwasher in the correct order.. I left my shoes on the mat etc etc.
Once that little lesson is done, its time to make dinner. After dinner clean up whilst the wife has a glass of wine. Then feed the dogs. Then clean the dog sh&t up. Then walk the dogs.
If there is time, and its not much past 9pm then I might be presented with a list of things to do, like empty the bin, hang more washing up etc.. "now you know how too"...
Then its "me" time, which is from about 950pm till about 10pm, at which point I get the following from the wife "get off that computer, you will be late for work tomorrow if you dont"...
Then, into bed for 10 ish, and back up at 6. Repeat on loop for the rest of my days.

Pontificating
Jod's am I missing something here, you're prepared to leave your wife and home over the kid, or is the wife just as bad as the brat ?
As per other answers, spoilt springs to mind
Billythekid, that's no life mate, i'd keep walking next time you take those dogs out.

When she says "My Room", she of course means a room in your house, undermine her a bit and remind her its not her house, she just lives there, probably for free and point out all the lovely places she could be living on her budget, i.e. a rat infested squat.
We are bringing some onbectionable, needy creatures intot he world these days with a sense of entitlement, a reality check is needed here.
Whatever you do, dont threaten violence, dont think you would do it so dont even threaten it, you will lose big style and she will get a massive payout ! just keep removing the treats, turn the heating off in her room, lock the phone etc. Change the WIFI passcode and dont give her the new one, or at least come up with some ideas and threaten that these "essential" free services she gets will be taken away if the attitude doesnt improve.
Is she working ?
Does she do anything round the house ?
