What exactly is wrong with the engine, it may not be compleatly knackered.

well,,,
look, i brought 3 "specialized!! with Subarus" to my car yesterday - individually 4 sure- , and all of them said that this engine is dead!!

wat happened exactly is that after this 1.5 bar thing, when i was going back home, i was going A LITTLE BIT fast (for about 5 minutes) then when i wanted to park my car, SUDDENLY a so loud KNOCKING sound started to come out from the engine,,,,,so i parked it and turned it off right away..

so each time i turn the engine on now, this loud sound of KNOCKING that speeds up by the time that the rpm increases will appear,,,
so this is the status of the engine!!
.
look i dont have any idea about engines and parts and all of this stuff..(unfortunately)
.
but one of them(the "specialists") tried to help me, and told me that there is a possibility that the major parts of the engine might not being destroyed and not affected yet,,,coz i didnt drive it at all after this sound came out,,,
,
and he said that we just might need to replace some simple (miner) parts of the engine,,
but he said that he should take it apart first to knw how bad the engine is :/
and then he will be able to tell me about the costs :S
and he is ganna start today :|
.
im ganna let you knw about the updates
and sorry for my poor English

Please keep us all up to date mate. You have so many well wishes and we are all hoping for a good outcome for you.
You never know, you might even end up with a better car than what you bought, let's hope so.

60% of your wages on a car loan? You really are nuts!
Feel bad for you that the engine has let go and it certainly sounds like big end bearings.
So you will need a set of shells, most like a crankshaft, modine oil cooler, gasjet set at the minimum, so at least £800-£1000 just for the parts.
Take this as a lesson my friend and don't get yourself into more debt trying to repair the engine.

You've just found out that being twice your age doesn't mean he's twice as clever!

Do you mean a family 'honour' killing is more acceptable?
