Has anyone seen anythign abotu how exactly these devices are going to indicate which car the police should pull?
would be no good sending them a message saying "the car with 195/50/15 goodyear eagles"...
presume it's linked to some kind of camera which will transmit a photo f the car going over the device?

i think we have enough traffic cops tbh
the police service is rapidly turning from a public service into a buisness
altho can agree machines are in essense not ideal either.
whats the stats on deaths per year from car accidents resulting from bald tyres?
anyone shed some light?

Would be interesting if they were used on Motorway slip roads and access roads to town centres.

The automatic cameras etc do not find people with cars like that out as well as not being fully reliable, and when we had plenty of traffic cops they were largely very fair and used common sense when dealing with the public. Those who really deserved it used to get done and that was fair enough.
