OK, fair enough, I think I get you now. Remember, my point isn't necessarily about a 'relationship' between these two - I agree, that does sometimes seem odd to me. This is about the moral question of the two having sex ("is there a case for it to be against the law?"). And I'll say it again: simply being the other side of an arbitrary line should not make you an outcast to society. Obviously the smart will not cross that line, but if someone does, it doesn't make sense to label them like we currently do. Some people would treat them terribly, but on the right side of the line they'd congratulate them. These people aren't being honest.

The law classes you as an adult at 16 in Scotland, by the way.
