I am trying one of these: ) I have a FMIC to great effect in my wagon but in my new WRX I am going to use the Apexi PFC on one of these better slanty jobs

The trick isn't getting to 300bhp, it's getting to 300 bhp without the engine detting its **** off

I bought one them ages ago but never got round to fitting it/mapping it on my old WRX. I ended up selling it to a member on here (and just got the car mapped on an OEM silver STi slanty).
It does indeed have bigger end tanks and less convoluted turbo-to-IC pipe.
I think it is a bar and plate design (rather than the OEM tube and fin item).

Not fitted it yet as I am still waiting for some accompanying Samcos but in black, which are taking a fooking age to come from Samco !
They are a direct replacement, no fecking about with clearance etc

hmmm.... just checked the bay and none on there. look like its fmic for me. i just dont want to fit bigger injectors and all the other bits to find out its held back by the slanty. think i need to email andy f and get his opinion as hes bound to have mapped some with the slanty tmic.

Your slanty would need to be mint ! a bent up blocked finned I/C would be dangerous at this level IMHO
