Hi mat.
I am by no means a guru on here but have done lost of reading an research before I bought MY03STI ppp. I would personally go for a blobeye STI. They are so much stronger and 6 speed gearbox is great. And with a few mods 330 ish is not that hard to get to and makes a great daily driver as mine is. I would of thought you could find a nice 03/04 sti for £7000 no problem. I did, and for a lot less than £7000.

Cars sit in showrooms for years without shifting mate, doesnt make any difference if its been stored or driven. 11k is like new, you'd be nuts not to consider it.
