I would much rather sell as a whole as I don't really want to break what is essentially a good car but if the market is that bad then needs must.

What I'd like to know is :

a) How much could I realistically look at getting back if I was to choose either option?

b) A rough time scale of how long it would take to sell the parts if i broke it? (I appreciate this is a difficult one to answer)

many thanks

In your situation I don't think you would benefit from breaking the car. It's the modified cars that are now worth more in bits chap.
