Yeah I get it about going viral etc but NOT on a generic video website like YouTube. There are plenty of adult orientated video hosting sites where it could be highlighted. And I certainly don't need a reminder that it does go on! Maybe as a parent myself (unlike some on here) I've become more sensitised to blatant cruelty and disregard for human life. But I hold my opinion this sort of thing should not be on YouTube but other more adult orientated sites, hence my ashamed comment. Robsy that wasn't aimed at you bit don't let it get in the way of retaliation

Yes, but it's still a family orientated video hosting site, well IMO it is. Videos like that don't belong on it and again IMO should be on other adult themed sites regardless of the age restriction.

No doubt I'll get flamed for it but tis only a car forum

What a sad state of affairs One day the rest of the World might actually hold China to account for its diabolical lack of human rights/suffering/animal cruelty and general attitude to life.

Very sad.

However... a snippet from that story:
Guangdong province is debating the introduction of a law to force people to help others in obvious distress.

Why would you need to make it up? Several countries around the world already have laws like that, or at least I assume this is the sort of thing the Chinese are talking about:

"In some countries, there exists a legal requirement for citizens to assist people in distress, unless doing so would put themselves or others in harm's way. Citizens are often required to, at minimum, call the local emergency number, unless doing so would be harmful, in which case the authorities should be contacted when the harmful situation has been removed. Such laws currently exist in several countries[1] such as Albania, Austria,[24] Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia,[25] Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France,[26] Germany,[27] Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Spain, and Switzerland."

To the OP,I whole-heartedly agree that these sort of vids should be seen by the masses as they raise our awareness of whats gong on around the world and can act accordingly.
Unfortunately, with the extreme censorship in China, streaming vids like this on You Tube is the only way of raising our awareness.
I also think that NSR is the perfect place to have these kind of discussions-Scoobynet is also a little bit more than just a car forum, imo!
