got rid of all that pent up tension, i knew id forgotten to do summat today LOL
doesent the Type r have a lower ratio box hence the rapid accelleration? its got to be quicker to 80mph than most scoobs/evo's?

Just to add after reading Evomans statement about arrogant Bmw drivers, im sure its not right across the board.
ive had a beemer and drove my bro's M3 down to dover a couple of times, i found whilst driving the M3 other road users were more hostile toward me, trying to get out of junctions and pulling out into the outside lane to overtake on the motorway proved to be a problem.
More so than in my MY00 scoob (yes a poor uk spec )
i think lots of people secretly want beemers but wont admit it?
hence the hostiliy towards them on the road.
yes ive come across ***** in them but probably equal if not more in vectra's, mondeo's etc.
I will probably own a BMW again one day but at the moment the scoob suits my needs and im still enoying it!

Hmmm confused at why peeps think all beemer drivers are inadequate motorway users?
Fortuanetly wether its a scoob or a beemer i use the motorway in the correct manner returning to the inner lane as soon as possible.
To be honset yes i do see alot of beemers on my travels in the outside lane, but generally the 90mph plus so why the **** shouldnt they? i have to many points to play there games but if they wan to risk it then why not?
See **** loads of speeding Mercs in the outside lane too they must be to55ers too
