Hi Dave, glad your happy with it , it can seem really loud after a oe/ prodrive system , but after a week it will grow on you . Does the car feel any more/less responsive ??.

Glad you like it buddy. It's time for mine to get swapped. If I go decat and swap for a prodrive back box will this give me a little more noise than standard. Or should I be looking for example a ninja 2 or a miltek?? what do you guys think?

I have been told that the 2.5l cars are a bit quicker than the 2.0l so may have to take that into consideration.
As for cabin noise... It is noticeable, but depends what you, yourself would consider too noisy etc... Me personally i like the rumble so it doesnt bother me. I drove to birmingham the other day and after an hour or so it still didnt bother me plus the road noise drowns it out a bit. With music on a sensible level you dont notice it at all.
Put your foot down and its an entirely different story.
I would attempt an in cabin video but not to sure it would have good enough quality to bring to reality with my poopy camera phone.
Plus i dont have a phone holder... ill see what i can do....

recieved my vortex bb today, just a quick question for anyone that has had one fitted is it a straight forward fit to a 2003 sti prodrive??qaulity looks pretty good to me,also should i have got a bung with the exhaust?getting it fitted tmorra night.
#85
Yes it is a straight forward fit to all Scoobs before 2005, the bung does not come as std. It did on the ninja 2 oddly enough which is not as loud as the vortex.
Scoobyworld sell them for about £25.00

It might also be worth looking at some revolution & cobra sports systems which also get good reviews on this site.
