She looks fantastic... With all that make up on. She dorsnt look too bad without it, but nothing more than an average girl.

Fair play to her, she has used what she has got to her advantage, but she would still do well if she looked like Adele.

I would have like to see a genuinely good singer doing just that... Singing, and not being a peice of meat.
In my opinion I think she would appeal to more people with half the make up off, and more clothes on.

As much as I would do, with my prude hat on I do have a bit of an issue with this forced "look at ma sexy body" in order to sell records.

The dress with her *** showing - young girls will be wanting to wear that out. Not all but some - and then we wander why some get attacked on the way home after a night out.

I appreciate sex and music has gone hand on hand for years but I do fell a bit uncomfortable about this every increasing habit of showing pretty much everything except Labia. I'm unhappy about my 9 year old watching some of the videos on the music channels.

I totally agree with you Edd. even if she were a brunette the fact remains she is flaunting herself to get ahead with her music.

No there is nothing wrong with that, but in my eyes it detracts from her musical ability IMHO.

Adele on the other hand, sings like her life depends on it & doesn't use sex to sell her records. I still can't stand the way she talks.

I agree with both, it is a shame when someone with so much talent feels that dressing that way will get positive reactions from all, but maybe she does expect some people to think she looks naff.

I don't know much about her, so maybe she isn't that intelligent and simply thinks it has to be done in order to 'get on' in life.
Personally I find women much alot sexier when they leave more to the imagination.

Like has been said, sex and the promotion of sexy = beautiful has always gone hand in the music industry, but thankfully there are more artist coming forward these days who know that they don't have to get their kit off to do well.

You have to wonder how artists like this make money. Let's face it, no-one with a brain cell buys a record because the singer is pretty. You can perv over the vids on YouTube for free and Google pics to your hearts (or *****'s) desire, but apart from per-click advertising, where does the revenue come from ? Get rid of the skimpy outfits and constant 'ooh look here's my knickers' behaviour in the video, and the music is awful, but then again, teenagers usually have poor taste.

Lets not forget that sex tapes re-launch celebrities and have done for years.

But that's what I mean, it's just airplay, not sales. It used to be that artists got about £1/$1 per album sale, with big players like Michael Jackson negotiating it as high as $4. Multiply that by millions of albums and you can see the revenue stream. That YT clip has been viewed 4m+ times, but what does Pixie get, maybe 1p a click, or much less ? Still potentially an easy £40k, but take off the agents 15%+, the record companies slice, and then tax and I can see her working in Tescos within a few years when her talent has dried up and interest wanes.
