That's a new one on me... Got any part numbers for us ?
A DCCD box will send 65% of the power to the rear wheels. This is a good thing, if you want to minimise the understeer caused by the early six speed having a 50:50 power split.

A simple Neetronics controller needs five wires ( 2 to the gearbox plus power, ground and a handbrake switch.) and some setting up, and you are sorted, if you have a DCCD box.

Well I've found out today that my gearbox has a 3.9 diff and my rear diff is a UK 3.54, they are ment to match up because of the drop gear (what ever that is) is a 1.01 where as a jap box is a 1.1, so its ment to match lol...

As I said before I have a 2001 bug wrx and I have a uk 6 speed DCCD with my 3.54 wrx diff which is a match as the drop gear is 1.1 in a uk box . I would go for a uk box as the gearing will be better as the 6th is about the same as 5th in a 5 speed.
