Regardless of its true origins it's just another thing that's drifted over from the States, it's getting beyond a joke in my opinion thats why I don't support it, besides I can't afford to buy sweets I have a thanks giving turkey to pay for !!!

As much as my village has lost some of its charm with non local people moving here as well as tragically, some ethnic minorities; the overwhelming majority of people know not to knock on my door. Don't think I have ever had a trick or treater.

We only had one group of kids at the door last night, it's a good job we didn't have to many caller's as we'd forgotten to buy sweets and just had some in the house already. Our kids were out for hours and the youngest came back with a bag load of sweets and about £6 as well
and then spent the rest of the evening as high as a kite on sugar as he eat alot of them before I realised.
