Different thing altogether! IMO
So you are saying it is ok for me to setup a pressing studio in my garage, as long as I learn the technical knowledge and fabrication techniques, buy the tools but most impotently, spend a lot of money in my new mass CD reproduction business, because of the reasons outlined.

You have also green lit my Nan in her knitted Armani jumper business.

You can actually get bluray rips that have been encoded to perfectly match very high end systems, I read this on AV forums (most likely) but i was referring to the fact that pirated movies, for example, start straight away, instead of all the crap you have to sit through with a bought copy, you can also get it in any format you want.

With music it is obvious, it is difficult if not imposable to buy high quality music.

Couldn't agree with him more

Pete Townshend said "a creative person would prefer their music to be stolen and enjoyed than ignored"

The guitarist also said that people who downloaded his music without paying for it "may as well come and steal my son's bike while they're at it".

If he wants to be taken with any degree of credibility then he shouldn't contradict himself.
