ill search for the original thread were a few scoobynetters were emailing and asking about it when it was listed on ebay.
claimed output of 400 and something bhp and the engine had no mods and 35k spent with no receipts and nothing to back it up with.
got relisted a few times, not sure if it sold or not, but the one day member comes from the same place the car was (swindon i think).
does he really think im trying to pass that piece of crap off as mine oh dear!

lol all these exagerated figures from ebay tat make it hard for the scooby owners who genuinely have spent thousands getting proper bhp to sell there cars.

 

360bhp is plenty to make me **** some times but i wanted 400bhp from day one and now have all the peaces soon as it make that power though most of it's coming apart cos then time to make it purity paint job and engine dressing

 

+1 and that swapz site got a email o it the other day as keep my scooby on there just to show off and see what i get offered telling me mines not a sti and only worth 1k at the most and that he's seen it about and it's fcuked more than a few of you have seen mine in the flesh and couple have been out in it and mine is spot on

 

my problem with these ebayers started a few years back when i was trying to sell my wrx it had a few mods and was running a genuine 280 bhp with rr print outs etc.
i got so many emails saying ill give you x amount as there is another one for the same price that has 450 bhp.
when you look at the ad its still running standard turbo,injectors top mount etc.
sonicvr6 will tell you the cost to get to 400bhp and its more than an exhaust and filter and a superchip lol.
