the thing is this doesnt really bother me and i didnt want to do this , oh..... and he is slating me he just cant let it go . anyway as i was saying on tuesday evening i received a phone call from a very angry guy asking if i was tubbytommy ,i said no , he said do you own a red scooby index number L420 UMB, i said yes, he said so you are tubbytommy .i said i didnt know what he was on about and he went away. i had heard the name somewhere but couldnt remember at the time. he rang again saying i have been slating his scooby on swapz, i must be tubbytommy,i convinced him i wasnt, he said he was from a rough part of coventry and knows people that know people, he said he was going to track down tubbytommy and asked if i knew anything about him , i realized it was on the link you sent me, and put 2&2 together,seems youve picked on the wrong guy this time tommy , as this guy was p***** and he explained that hes a traffic officer in the west midlands ......and he isnt goona stop until he finds you,it wasnt very nice being accused , and as for you not knowing about swapz ,com on tommy hands up ,youve been caught out. not so cool now.

 

your still repeating yourself tommy, why cant you be honest for once , admit that you go on swapz, and you have already stated on this forum that you wind people up, but grow a pair and do it in your own name , that way other people wont have to take the rap for you and you can deal with your own fall out... cant believe your still in denial,

If this 'other' party is a so called 'traffic cop', and he called me giving it what for id be on the phone to the plod shop making a formal complaint and let them handle it. While there place a second complaint against Tommy IF you have all the details to back yourself up that he has been misguiding your identity as his. Sounds of things 'if' the call was true and he started off with threats etc then he is the one with the issue and also how and why is he involved exactly? Why does he care about your car and who you/Tommy are? not very clear?

Tommy has slated your car, it not my taste each to their own. Not sure to what degree he has gone to off of this forum etc. I assume you recently bought this car? If so and your happy with it then great. Tommy should stop whetever fun and games he has been amusing himself with. If the traffic cop calls back play it cool take his name, number etc saying you will help him then report his ar$e for harassment.

I'm still unclear as to what the problem is. So Tommy has written on your wall slating your car? That seems to be the only thing he has done wrong, or am I missing something?

If that's the case it seems like he has only been warning people to stay clear of a car that has been mis-represented so many times. And if i'm honest, is still being done so in your "SWAPZ" advert where it claims to be running 300bhp. A UK turbo with just a back box is not 300bhp. If you are unsure what it's running, don't put a figure up as it looks like you are trying to mis-lead people.

As for the other claims about Tommy in your first post, is there anything to substantiate these?

now this is correct it was done via ebay when i won the car, but that cant be you can it as you have no ebay id.

how did i send you links to anything as the only person that i did that to was the original ebay seller, but thats not you as you have no ebay id.

also how did you buy it on ebay ? every time it was relisted on here we all had a good laugh at it so watched it and it never sold plus you have no ebay id so how did you bid??

the original ebay listing ended 20th august.
so you brought the car presumably some time after 20th of august,then according to a later rant,then had the engine rebuilt by porsche and tried to sell it straight away.

im gonna take a wild guess here that your are the original owner and still cant sell that piece of crap and and are annoyed at scoobynetters for laughing at it.

please provide some evidence of these so called things i have done as id love to hear them, what were they again something about your mrs etc.

now i admit i had a great laugh on ebay about that car but have never met you as you have only had the car 2 months after buying it on ebay(without an ebay id) and rebuilding the engine at porsche and getting threats from the coventry traffic police.
neither of us live anywhere near coventry either so god knows how coventry police are interested in the car.

as for slating the car after the original thread where we all had a laugh at the 440 bhp 35k spent, it was pretty much forgotten about about apart from when it was relisted from time to time by the original ebayer, mostly in september which was the same time you were having it rebuilt by porsche, maybe you want to have a word with the seller on ebay as he was selling it at the same time you were having the engine rebuilt and i was contacting you about it. explain that??

as for swapz i have never seen it before so how do you slate a car on there as comments from other people dont appear to be on you page.

If all true above then I second the possibility that you are the original owner, seller and creator of this car which you have become lumbered with and cannot sell.

why you rebuilt the engine in september whilst the car was still for sale on ebay by the original owner?

how did you buy it as you have no ebay id and how did i contact you about receipts etc as you have no ebay id and that was the only place it was for sale in september.

if you were the buyer on ebay and were happy or unhappy with the car the seller has no feedback about the sale, his ebay id is bull041161 if anyone wants to check it out. he has feedback from me on there stating the false claims about power figures and money spent but none from you?

well well well got it all wrong again, i knew nothing about this car being on ebay until you told me ,you posted the links to me on swapz site 8th october, scooby net link, and ebay link ,this is the first i knew about your ordeal. i saw the car advertised on gumtree ,some guy called kyle from chapeltown in sheffield, i swapped a bmw convertible that i had advertised on gumtree, pistonheads, and swapz. it was an mtech coupe not really my cup of tea though, the scooby was advertised as you say, however had no tax or mot, he said he would mot it that morning but like you say he tells a lot of lies, i had already hired a trailor by this time , i knew the car had no listings with dvla and it wasnt on any police records, possibly they said as it had been sorn for so long, i had him email mot test certificate number so i could check history , it was put in for mot in 2009 but failed miserably on usual things like ,lights , tyres but nothing major the car was not passed even after retest. the last time this scooby was officially on the road was 2006 and was then owned by rob o'neil from warrington cheshire he had it imported in 2000, rob is a painter and had his own workshops in warrington ,and now does paintless dent removal ,his own buisness ,he was the one who stripped it and but body kit on ,he bought wheels, he had engine rebuild at porsche specialist, everything was done by rob , i have only put new tyres on ,taxed and moted and had full service done at reputable garage, also had wheels refurbed on inner edge as where it was stood for so long kept going down. oh and a good polish. engine rebuild was done by 930 SPORT INDEPENDANT PORSHE SPECIALIST ,BANKQUAY TRADING ESTATE WARRINGTON between august 02 to be collected 10/9 /02 costing £2675.04.
where were we oh yes i put the bmw on a trailer and set off to chapeltown sheffield on friday the 2nd of september2011 , dont want to bore you lot but you wanted the truth ...here it is. arrived at his home address or so he said ,car looked good but i wasnt under any illusions didnt have to worry as it was going back on a trailer.he said he had put body kit on and didnt drive it but took it to satapod nnow and again to give it a blast. he was a blatant liar , dont even think it was his car, probably his dads, deal was he payed half for trailer and payed for mot cash before we left. it was dark when we got back to swindon and we left it on trailer till morning, he didnt even look at bmw,we parked it on his drive, probably doesnt have a licence or cant drive, when we checked paperwork , robs name was still on log book as a previous owner, and all bills in his name, didnt take long to track him down. i now have full documentation of all work carried out by rob as he sent me a dvd with all recorded info of his computer, from srtip back and first bodykit going on and in max power in 2002, he wasnt happy wilth bobykit and changed if again in 2003 and it went on front cover again of max power and banzia. rob payed £8,900 on 24/5/ 00 .and its a 1993 model not 1995 as tommy states . i have all paperwork to prove . test certificate number now is 325779441471 check if you dont believe me.

OK. . . still doesn't answer the question of what has Tommy done to you exactly? Why are the Coventry rozzers calling you and you coming on here all aggressively? Or are you just annoyed you got sold a bit of a lemon? Looks like your putting it back to road worthy condition but still more than most it wont appeal too. Even though it was a cover car back in 2002-3 lots have changed in the scene from then.

Tommy - I dont doubt the engine has been rebuilt. . but it was back in 2002!! Alot of time has gone since then. Rather then stating its been rebuilt which like Tommy said is a bit missleading should have read 'been rebuilt at X mileage by . . . etc'. Like listing its had new tyres, brakes all round. . . . 50k ago. All good is was done but could be in any condition now.

Like i said if you have only just bought this cas and going to give it some TLC then fair do just not best way to introduce yourself to the forum. Unless allegations are back up.

 

as for the bhp i am only going off what rob told me, i have no proof as i have said as i havnt put it on a r/r.

 

anyway forget the car explain the other claims i.e coventry traffic police, especially as neither of us live anywhere near coventry and the thing about your mrs etc. bearing in mind i have no idea who you are.

i fully admit to winding the guy up on ebay as it was revenge for all the timewasters on ebay i had when trying to sell an old wrx with ONLY 280 bhp not the 440 like all the others.

I know but to make amends as what he has accused you off is quite defamatory. No matter what your remarks were to the original seller, or opinion on this car or others to be accused and from looks of things with blatant lies made up then a end is needed. An apology would mark the end to draw a line under it etc.
