Convert that 2 pounds and I probably paid more and it didn't even get me half a tank. I'm running a smaller tank then usual 2 save weight lol.

Obviously will get some suspension upgrades but that is down the road. Don't want to upset the wife too much! Are there headlight protectors offered my style STI?
fair one mate sensible (never get on wrong side of a woman ha ha)........unsure about headlamp protectors.......you can buy headlamp film which acts as a small protector, but a very cheap version.......you'll get them for around 10-15 bucks over your end........and can stay light or darken the front lights a touch as they do different grades of darkness.......check out ebay........

if someone has an STI your style maybe they can shed more light on them

Happy home happy wife as the saying goes! Don't want to **** the misses off. Don't want the film though. Seen plastic protectors for civic's and other vehicles so hopping to find some for the STI

I loved living in White Plains, it was a great place to work and live, and being so close to Manhatten was amazing! It's just that me contract finished so work moved me back home. I will definitely go back soon though!

Welcome to our forum wrb30.

I'm NOT going to make my usual hatch comment, as you probably wouldn't get it, being from over the pond.
Car looks nice.

I may have totally miss understood, but are you saying it cost $50 to fill the tank with fuel?

It costs me about £77 to fill my tank to the brim with V-power, that is $123.42 USD and I use most of that in a week to cover 220 miles.

yah just googled it, it's about half the price for you. still, it's all relative.

Nice little place White Plains. You were lucky to be so close to the city. The misses and I have been going ever since we started dating 5 yrs ago. Its a 6.5 hr drive for us though.

I am in the USA and will probably be here for a long time, unfortunately! Nah they never mentioned anything about that to me. The STI is completely stock and I dont see me doing any engine enhancments on it either. This car I just want to enjoy it with my wife. Still have my toys to tinker with.
Thanks. My wife chose the colour.

I know that petrol is more expensive over there mate. I was in Northern Ireland about 3 weeks ago and seen how much it costed my mate to fill up his Civic.
I remember when petrol was about .50 cents here and now $4 a gallon. It's crazy for us cause we always look back in the day and reminess about how cheap gas used to be

We will be enjoying it. Wife keeps asking me when am I going to take her out so she can learn how to drive it!? Took her out in the Civic and I might say she did quite well. Did not stall it once.
We all have our own tastes and the wife's and mine was to get the hatch as it's spacious. I just love the look of it as does she.
Thanks for all the welcomes
