Are they? I think people and especially the daily ****ing mail give MAC too much publicity and an excellent platform to stand on. MAC don't see that the press are exposing them? MAC see it as free advertising. I don't see the difference between EDL and MAC other than EDL like to pick fights on kids and generally be morons where MAC just like to shout about it. Two cheeks of the same ****. The only thing seperating them is a bit of ****.
EDL don't have an agenda beyond the fact they don't like people and have more fingers than teeth. They aren't out burning poppies which most of the country find abhorrant. The fall out from the riots, with the cenotaph defacement showed that it doesn't matter who does it, it's about as near as you can get to drawing a silly pic of old mohammed having a bacon butty.
MAC have an agenda. they actively campaign for the right to be able to do things like this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-15688354 and that makes them a lot more dangerous.
Personally, I'd have them all round up and shipped off the St Kilda where they can happily rant about whatever they like and wait for the precious prophet to come save them.

I think they are and I don't read the Daily Heil either.

I'm no fan of them at all but as soon as this ruling came out the hypocrysy became tranparent. Much like all of those people who feel sorry for the EDL once they are arrested before breaching the peace (which we know they are going to.... after a pint or two). We need one rule for all not a miss mash or randomn bollocks.

There is no denying that they have an agenda but if you follow the laws of the land in pushing your agenda forward then there is actually nothing wrong with that. You also have the right to push forward a counter agenda, etc, etc.

I'd liken the MAC lot to more like the IRA in the way the represent their views. The EDL are louts and while being a lout is not great there is a big difference between that and openly celebrating the death of soldiers.
I see no hypocrisy, remember we banned the chap from that load of loons in the US that celebrate the death of soldiers too.
It's got nothign to do with the fact they are muslims, or the colur of their skin it is pure and simple that they are an organised and not completely stupid group with a large slice of mental irregularity built in.

I think we'll agree to disagree.

I find that salute quite offensive, particularly on Armistice Day. You'll be turning Shia and joining Hezbollah next.

OK, so by the same logic, you'd have no objection if a bunch of people got together and started up a British wing of NAMBLA, or some organization with even more extreme goals, provided they 'followed the laws of the land' in calling for the right to pursue their activities of interest?

I'd start dealing with all radical groups by unmasking them.
My solution would be that a senior Police officer merely has to declare " a potential breach of the peace". In that circumstance any officer under his control should be able to demand that face coverings should be removed, under pain of immediate arrest.
Recruitment won't be so easy if they can't hide their faces. Let's face it, would you employ one of them?

I'm going to take an educated guess from your reply that you don't have a clue who or what NAMBLA is, so here's to your continuing online education:
NAMBLA
NAMBLA
I for one would love to see car thieves being given the chop. In the democratic world i could (if i had the will power) start a group with like minded people and use the democratic system to try my luck in having said punishment work and used in law. If someone does not agree they can also bid against it, etc, etc.
As for a British version of NAMBLA i would object. However if they tried to push their ideas within confines of the law then there is sweet fa i could do about it (other than joining the group that opposes them).
It is how the democratic system works. Sometimes certain people come up with ideas you do not like, you have the right to speak out against it
