The trick is, to argue untill you are blue in the face about the car you own or owned.
Get angry, insult people, then make friends and say "lets all appreciate each others cars"

Saxo Boy, why are Saxo owners on the BB ? is there not a saxo board somewhere ? can you provide a link - it would be interesting to know what you guys talk about ... !!
Having read all you pre-MY01/02 owners' comments, I must admit that I feel sorry for you guys ... !!

I reckon they're all ugly. I don't think Imprezas look like nice at all. I bought my MY00 for the performance! Who cares about looks when you've got the power under the foot, handling and brakes. As long as you use the Wax Wizard products to keep it clean and shiny, that's enough for the looks department. I'd buy a new shaped STI if I could tomorrow. Not for the looks, but for it's performance handling and brakes.
Cheers,
Wrexy.

Blaster,www.saxosportsclub.co.uk is what your after. There is a couple of serious fast saxo's which would put a lot of us to shame on a track day in the club but the rest are just tarted up and not at all fast.

Maybe a touch sad but I'm often the last person to leave work (everyone leaves about 5ish) and have a a small walk to P1 in the car park. Had it six months now, still think it looks awesome, it just looks mean and just says - "go on son - do it!"

Here's my two penny's worth
At first I much prefered the old shape, IMHO looked that bit more...well, aggresive. I then started to notice the STi7 in the mags and like the sound of the mechanics but was not that struck on the shape. I took the STi7 for a jolly jaunt and decided there and then I just had to have one despite my reservations about the looks. I am now due to collect my belovid in the next two weeks and over the few months the STi Prodrive style has grown on me. That said, I do not dislike the previous styling either.
Come on chaps (and ladies) it's not an us and them.
Steve
PS: the wife can't stand either of them and shuts down when ever I mention the "danmed car" LoL

Don't get me wrong - I LOVED the old car.
But having had an MY02 for a while now it's really growing on me. I'm still going to sort out the lights at some stage, but the spoiler will probably stay - looks funky and is WAY less MAX POWER than any of the high-tail ones available.
Don't any of you with high spoilers get the wrong idea though - it's an impressive sight alright - I would just feel slightly embarassed driving around with one.....

I prefer the looks and raw edge of the old shape.
I liked the way the bugeye went around corners, and thats all I liked about it.
I sold the bug after 6 months, would have liked to have been able to get a brand new My99 and sorted out the suspension so it handled like a MY01. Ho Hum.
The 22B is still the most fun I've ever had driving a hard top car.
