The comp housings, I believe, are the same size for 18g and 20g (just the comp wheel is bigger in the 20g). So your 18g's existing snail... might!... simply bolt onto the SC40 (if the bolt holes are in the same place, etc)....

At least 1.3bar (as my old 93 WRX's 16g was mapped to 282 at 1.3 peak/1.1 held). And that was on the restrictive tiny OEM airbox/tiny TMIC, etc).
I reckon it'll make 1.4-1.5 bar peak easily enough (which should be good for the bhp you're after).

Yeah sorry, it was on V-Power only.
If that SC40 works okay then you should see enough boost on meth+VP to get your numbers....

The best/easiest mod for 'free' extra power, for sure.
But I can't be arsed with the hassle of pre-ordering, fiddling at the petrol station etc., etc....

have you got a simtek cos i got mine with one map for 95 ron and the other for meth+tesco 99 ron then you dont have to worry about forgetting the meth and you can get the meth to your door if you fill right up each time it's alrigh really

True! And yes I do have Simtek. I didn't think about it like that. Yeah, the 2 maps give you that 'get out of jail' option!
Cheers
I intend to move to a T.S. set-up with a TS SC42 (7cm) for a super-spooling 400+ car
- prob upto 420 on V-P only.
And if I get the 2nd map on 20% meth, then that could feasibly make c.450bhp!

Yeah, it's win-win over a long term period of use, due to, effectively, the diluted costs at the pump!
More power/miles for less!
